Cancellation & Refund Policy
This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, completed work, and refund requests are handled for service projects.
1. General Approach
Because podcast production is time-based creative and technical work, cancellation and refund eligibility depends on how much work has already been scheduled or completed. The goal is to handle cancellations fairly while accounting for reserved production time and completed services.
2. Before Work Begins
If a client cancels before production work begins and before non-recoverable project costs are incurred, amounts paid may be eligible for refund subject to the confirmed project terms and any payment processing limitations.
3. After Work Has Begun
Once work has begun, payment for completed work, reserved production time, completed setup, review, editing, cleanup, mixing, writing, transcription, design preparation, or other delivered effort may be non-refundable. If only part of the project has been completed, any refund or remaining balance should be determined based on the confirmed scope and work performed.
4. Completed and Delivered Work
Fees for services that have been completed and delivered are generally not refundable merely because a client changes direction, decides not to publish an episode, receives lower audience response than expected, or no longer needs the content. Any correction obligation for a production error should be handled through the agreed revision process when appropriate.
5. Client Delays or Missing Materials
A project may be paused when required files, approvals, payment, access, or feedback are not provided. Extended inactivity may require rescheduling or a new production timeline. Any effect on fees or cancellation should be handled according to the project terms and the work already completed.
6. Rescheduling
Remote recording support or other time-specific services may be rescheduled when reasonable notice is provided and availability permits. Repeated changes, late cancellations, or missed sessions may result in charges for reserved time if that was part of the confirmed booking terms.
7. Refund Method
Approved refunds should ordinarily be returned through an appropriate payment method and may take additional time to appear depending on the financial provider. Processing fees that cannot be recovered may be excluded when permitted by law and disclosed in the project terms.
8. Exceptions Required by Law
Nothing in this policy removes rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer protection law.
